The Grading Conference

UC Irvine Pedagogical Wellness Day 2026
UC Irvine is hosting Pedagogical Wellness Day 2026, a professional development conference organized by the Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation on Friday, July 31st, 2026.
Pedagogical wellness is the intersection of teaching, learning, and wellness in higher education courses, leveraging evidence-based practices from various domains to promote the success and wellbeing of students and educators. The conference is intended for an array of stakeholders, including instructors, graduate students, administrators, and staff.
Pedagogical Wellness Day goals include enabling attendees to:
Gain familiarity with an actionable pedagogical wellness framework.
Participate in hands-on training with pedagogical wellness activities.
Develop a pedagogical wellness plan to implement on one's campus.
Join an interdisciplinary community to share pedagogical wellness strategies.
Collaborate on pedagogical wellness research projects.
